The FuelTech 8HP PCB is a purpose-built circuit board that takes the place of the factory mechatronic control electronics on a ZF 8HP, so the transmission can be commanded directly by a FuelTech ECU. Shift points, line pressure and torque management all live in the FuelTech map instead of a locked OEM TCU — which is exactly what a swapped 8HP needs when the donor car's controller isn't coming along.

What else you need
The board is one part of a three-piece control system. A complete 8HP setup on FuelTech also requires:
- A FuelTech ECU to run the transmission strategy
- A FuelTech Peak & Hold PRO injector driver to drive the transmission's pressure solenoids
Who it's for
Builders already running — or planning to run — FuelTech engine management who want the 8HP controlled from the same ECU rather than a separate standalone TCU. It pairs with ASE's 8HP conversion kits, which supply the mechanical side of the swap: adapter plate, flexplate and driveshaft adapter.
Installation
Fitting the board means opening the transmission and replacing the control electronics on the valve body, so it should be done by a qualified transmission technician. Improper installation can cause transmission malfunction or failure. Read the FuelTech 8HP board installation manual before ordering.

All standard non custom made to order items are eligible for return within 30 days of purchase. To request a return purchaser must email us or call to request Instructions on how to proceed with returning an item. Upon receipt of your return you will be issued a return within 3-5 business days. Any custom order items will only have 7 days from the date of purchase/payment to request a cancellation/refund. Beyond that time frame you will be issued a refund up to 30 days from purchase minus a 20% restocking/cancellation fee. All refunds will be issued in the same form as your payment was made/ If you purchase via PayPal your refund will be via PayPal etc. Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with the return of an item as far as shipping/freights go. All items must be return in NEW unused condition. Any damage to the item with be due a 20% minimum restocking fee. Exchanges for product defect or warranty will not incur any restocking charges and shipping charges will be credited as well.
