Reduction rings for installing a smaller 90mm or 95mm bearing transmission onto the A340 cut-style adapter plates.
The CD009 comes with one of three main input shaft bearings depending on year — 90mm, 95mm or 100mm. Every ASE adapter plate is cut for the 100mm, which is the largest and by far the most common.
Install a plate against a 90mm or 95mm bearing and there is visible play in the bore. The shaft moves radially inside that gap continuously, which causes noise, tears up the input shaft bearing, and prematurely destroys the pilot bushing adapter — which is why destroyed adapters are so often blamed on the adapter rather than the real cause.
These rings close that gap. The thinner ring converts a 95mm to 100mm, the thicker ring converts a 90mm to 100mm. Precision laser cut, so they pop straight on and lock in with no fitting or shimming.
Both rings are included as standard with all current ASE CD009 kits, whether or not you need them at the time. Check your kit before ordering.

A note worth repeating for drifters: if your transmission is a 100mm and the rings came with your kit, put them somewhere safe rather than discarding them. When a CD009 eventually fails the cheapest replacement is usually another used one, which may well have a 90mm or 95mm bearing.
Measure the outer diameter of the main input shaft bearing before installing the plate. 100mm and you are ready to go. 90mm or 95mm and you fit the matching ring first. Thirty seconds of measuring prevents a teardown.

Beyond that time frame you will be issued a refund up to 30 days from purchase minus a 20% restocking/cancellation fee. All refunds will be issued in the same form as your payment was made/ If you purchase via PayPal your refund will be via PayPal etc. Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with the return of an item as far as shipping/freights go. All items must be return in NEW unused condition. Any damage to the item with be due a 20% minimum restocking fee. Exchanges for product defect or warranty will not incur any restocking charges and shipping charges will be credited as well.
